Fiber claim for white quinoa

A packaged white quinoa includes "fiber" in a list of health claims on the company's website.

To make a claim about a nutrient (even if just implied), there must be at least a good source (10% of Daily Value) of that nutrient in one standard serving. This product shows only 1 g fiber per 1/4 cup serving, which is only 4% of the DV for fiber. Most quinoa has 3 g fiber per 1/4 cup raw, which qualifies as a "good source." Assuming their nutrition data is correct, it is likely that this quinoa has had its outer layer of bran removed (similar to white rice vs. brown). That would reduce the fiber content significantly.
